My girlfriend and I have been dating for a year. My birthday was last Saturday. When my girlfriend and I woke up to go to breakfast on Sunday there was a present waiting for me on my porch. It was from my ex-girlfriend. We are still friendly and exchange text messages from time to time. My girlfriend was outraged that my ex would leave me a gift and demanded I return it. I love the gift and don’t want to. She says keeping it would be disrespectful and almost like cheating. Is she right? Should I keep the gift?
