Relationship Wednesday 2-9-22

1. “My relationship with my boyfriend has come to a dead stop. We’re more like roommates than lovers. The other night, we were sitting on the couch when I said our relationship has gotten too comfortable. He said that ‘comfortable’ is good, but if I don’t like it I’m free to go out and casually date to see if I can find anything better. I was shocked that my boyfriend would say this. Does this mean he doesn’t care? He says he loves me and is confident I won’t leave him or find anything better. I have to admit, the idea of dating again excites me although I do love my boyfriend and ‘comfortable’ is good some of the time. What would you do if you were me? Should I date?”

2. “I’m gonna try to keep this short and simple to explain my situation. My boyfriend and I just got into a huge argument last week. The argument contains when never do anything fun anymore. the relationship went kind of sour. we live in two separate places I live with family and he also lives with family. i’m 34 he is 30. I’ve been trying to look for places that we could both possibly move into together we’ve been dating for a year and a half. The biggest problem I have is he wants to get married eventually I do not I was married for 12 years and it was horrible but I also cannot blame him on that. The second biggest problem is I want kids and he doesnt like none and is firm”

3. “My husband wants to take our 12 and 13 year-old sons to see “Jackass Forever” this weekend. I am totally against it because our kids don’t need to be doing stunts like Johnny Knoxville. My husband tells me I’m too uptight and underestimate our kids. He says they won’t imitate what they see in the film. He mocks me and says I’m being overprotective. Someone has to be the grown-up in the house and it’s me. No young teenagers should be watching all of those crazy stunts because at some point they will want to imitate them. Would you allow your kids to go and see the movie? Who do you side with? Me or my husband?

P.S.: It also happens to be an R-rated movie”

4. “My husband of 20 years and I haven’t had relations in over a year probably close to two years because I am very self-conscious about the weight gain and the medicine I’m on causes my libido to go downhill. Any tips or tricks for us medicated girls who aren’t in the mood?”
