Relationship Wednesday 1-12-22

“I am going to use different names for this issue. there is my husband, the brother he is close to Jim and the not so good brother Jack.
My husbands oldest brother Jack is in his 40’s doesn’t make the best choices in life and isn’t a very good person. he still lives at home with mom and dad doesn’t help pay any bills just free loads off of them. They have tried to get him help several times and he always goes back to doing the same thing and doesn’t want the help.  Mom and dad have asked him to get his stuff and go find another place to live and he always guilt trips them and end up staying. Well when dad comes home late at night and has a few choice words with Jack, then the mom will always call my husband and Jim to come rescue the situation. It doesn’t matter what time of night it is she will call them and tell then they need to come help now. it could be 11 at night and they are getting up to go rescue the situation. We both now have kids so they are waking the kids up in the process to go “help” this has been going on for 4 years now.

Me and my sister in law, Jim’s wife are tired of it but if we say something to the parents we are the bad people. What would you do if you were in our shoes. “

“My mouth hit the floor as I was doing laundry on Saturday. I was sorting clothes when I came across a new pair of underwear from my husband. They are white with red hearts. I ran into his man cave and questioned him. He said a female co-worker gave him the underwear as a Secret Santa gift. I have long suspected this woman has a crush on my husband. My husband says he wore the underwear last week as a joke. I told him that I am throwing out the underwear and that he never should have worn them. He disagrees and says they are a gag gift. I told him that wearing the underwear was disrespectful and almost like cheating because he was keeping them a secret from me. Have I overreacted? Should my husband apologize?  Your thoughts?”
