Labor Horror Stories
Last week in Iowa, a woman went in to labor and her husband sped her to the hospital. Apparently, he went a little too fast. He and his wife IN LABOR ended up laying on the pavement with police pointing guns at them.
We asked if you had any terrible labor stories. AND YOU DID. One lady said it took her husband 10 minutes to start the car because he was freaking out and used the wrong keys. Another said her husband hit a deer when they were driving to the hospital. But the winner (loser?) for sure was the gentleman who rushed out of the house, slipped in horse poop, busted his head open and spent four hours in the ER during the birth of his child! Did anything crazy happen to you when you went into labor?

Seasonal Sadness
Speaking of being born, according to a study Poolboy found, the month you were born in could affect your general mood in adulthood. It says if you were born in summer you may have more intense mood swings, if you were born in spring you are more cheerful, winter babies tend to be more irritable, and fall babies are less prone to depression. Science! Heather said her happiest son was born in winter and there’s no way he will grow up to be irritable. I was born in February and am definitely not irritable either. She goes on to say that Pool was born in spring and is far from cheerful. We got plenty of calls and texts about this saying the study nailed who they are, but others said it doesn’t quite describe them. Read the study. Does it describe you or not? Do you believe in studies like this?
