Arkansan country music legend, Glen Campbell was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2012. Rather than slow down, he went on a massive farewell tour, and now a documentary about his life and final performances is debuting at the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival. With the documentary, he also has new song out called, “I’m Not Gonna Miss You.” Have a listen. It’s a little different than the title suggests.
Who The Hell Is Brad Pitt?
In another new movie coming out soon, Fury, Brad Pitt plays a World War II tank operator. In preparation for the movie, he and the other actors sat down with a few WWII vets and talked to them about their experiences. One of the veterans, George, had a surprising question when he was approached about meeting the actor: “Who the hell is Brad Pitt?” The vet’s wife sure knew who he was and as Heather put it, “You’re never too old to have the hots for Brad Pitt.” Watch the interview with George and his wife here.
Holiday Plans
Heather and Poolboy have kicked off the planning for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Pool will go to Louisiana for Christmas and Heather is headed to Texas for Thanksgiving. She isn’t so much upset about that, but did have an issue with the fact that her husband made these plans AND DIDN’T EVEN ASK HER.
Apparently this is a common theme in married couples, with many others calling and texting to say they never get to plan their family holidays. A few wives texted in and said because they’re the wife, they get to make the calls. Others said they do the typical one side of the family for Thanksgiving and the other for Christmas, but most said they consult their spouse BEFORE they make the plans. Mrs. Moose and I just cram three different families into one weekend because we’re all in Central AR. Have you started planning for the holidays yet? Do you have a ton of traveling to do? Hopefully you get to see some relatives like this…
